GYNECOLOGY FOR YOUNG WOMEN

The first visit to the gynaecologist is great experience for every young woman. It involves breaking a certain barrier and overcoming shyness. No wonder that such a visit should take place in a different way than a normal medical gynaecological consultation. We offer the delicacy and tact, an introduction to the prevention of venereal diseases, the information about the contraceptive methods, understanding the principles controlling the menstrual cycle and fertility, and prevention of gynaecological diseases. We want this visit to eliminate the fear of regular visits to the gynaecologist and break the barriers associated with intimate topics.

A woman who began having sex should have such a medical consultation. As a part of that visit we propose:

• discussion about the menstrual cycle, principles controlling it, its possible disorders and related ailments
• presentation of the scope of sexually transmitted diseases and the possibility of their prevention and treatment
• discussion about the contraceptive methods: the natural contraceptive methods and the hormone contraceptive methods, and choosing the appropriate methods to the needs and health conditions of the patient.
• discussing the issues related to intimate hygiene and sexual intercourse
• gynaecological examination with cytological examination
